Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Brygg’s website and services (the “Service”). Brygg is an AI coffee-search service operated as a small project based in Sweden. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Brygg lets you describe the coffee you want in natural language and returns a ranked list of real products from specialty roasters, grounded in a catalogue of actual roaster offerings. When you find a match, you can click through to the roaster’s own website to buy it. Brygg does not sell coffee directly and is not a party to any purchase you make from a roaster.

Search results and any accompanying text are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and are provided for general, informational purposes only.

• Recommendations may be incomplete, out of date, or occasionally inaccurate. Product facts shown on a card come from our catalogue, but availability, pricing, and details are ultimately set by the roaster.
• Always confirm price, availability, shipping, and product details on the roaster’s own website before purchasing.
• AI output is not professional advice and should not be relied on as such.

Sign-in: You can use Brygg without an account via an anonymous session. To save your history you can sign in with a magic link sent to your email, or with Google. We use passwordless authentication — no passwords required.

Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using it you confirm you are 16 or older.

Account security: Keep your email and Google account secure, as anyone with access to them can access your Brygg account. If you suspect compromise, contact hello@brygg.coffee.

Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time; we remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

When using Brygg, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission, or circumvent rate limits.
• Misuse the AI search (e.g. to generate unlawful content or to probe or attack the underlying model).
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

Roaster information: Our catalogue contains information about, and links to, third-party roaster websites. Brygg is not responsible for the accuracy, quality, safety, or legality of roaster information or products, and inclusion is not an endorsement.

Leaving Brygg:When you click through to a roaster, you leave our Service. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or transactions on external sites. Review each roaster’s terms, shipping, and return policies before buying; purchases are solely between you and the roaster.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including how your search queries are processed by AI. As a Sweden-based service we respect your rights under the GDPR.

Brygg is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we will clearly distinguish free from paid, price transparently, and notify users before launching anything paid. We will never charge you without clear notice and consent.

Brygg property: The Brygg name, logo, design, and original content are owned by Brygg and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without permission.

Roaster property: Roaster names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown for informational purposes only.

“As is”:The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, that catalogue information is accurate or current, that external links will work, or that recommendations will match your taste.

Limitation: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brygg and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, reliance on AI-generated recommendations, or purchases from third-party roasters. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You may stop using Brygg and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, engage in unlawful or abusive activity, or create security or legal risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under EU law or the laws of your country of residence. Please contact hello@brygg.coffee first to resolve any dispute informally; for formal disputes the Swedish courts have jurisdiction, though EU consumers may also bring proceedings in their home country.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
